This is just proof why brokers need to be looking into OTHER alternative asset distribution methods to circumvent mediums that use monopolistic bodies like clearing houses. Cryptocurrency is currently the MOST promising alternative asset, and if every company being set up were to distribute a proprietary crypto-currency as its stock, brokers would not be beholden to monopolistic clearing houses and would instead just be the platforms users are trading on.

Crypto-stock is the future. Clearing houses are clearly in the wrong, and a decentralized currency like Bitcoin proves they aren't necessary anymore.
