Of course they would consider it that, but the idea of fighting an evil government with the guns as intended by the second amendment died when people started arguing the government deserved to have superior weaponry; there’s absolutely nothing in the second amendment about having inferior weaponry allowed to us and superior weaponry allowed to the police and military, and our right to bear arms has been weakened to the point of near uselessness. Today, if we had a real institution of those principles, private citizens would have much better access to offensive and defensive equipment.
