I've been thinking about how tor and anonymous networks need to be the standard internet for social communities, especially with potential for war looming, even being slightly inconvenient to the state could be costly.
The problem is that tor is almost entirely just crime. It's a big turn off to normal people even though normal people should be on it and shouldn't be writing any of their opinions on clearnet, no matter how innocuous they think their opinions are.
But perhaps I've just failed to find it seeing as the criminals have much more budget to spend on marketing and getting their name out there at every gateway into TOR because they actually have a dollar to make unlike people who simply want a free place to chat without contributing to the norm of submitting content to the most useful data-collection operation on the general public the government has ever had access to.
Has anyone heard of such forums?
I have heard about dread, but it's pretty much 90% down right now.
I'd also like to join a few extremely secure and private Libertarian-type forums. I'd bet Tor has a few, but I haven't looked yet. I'm afraid I'll go down the wrong hallway and see something I cannot unsee and be scarred for life. If you ask on The Hated One or Techlore channels, you might find a viewer of theirs with a decent answer. I guess I should take my own advice. Problem is that most forums like that may have a secrecy policy to never talk about it on "normies" sites... and given the state of the world right now, I can understand that. Soon enough, some of us will be targeted. Look at what is happening in the UK with people getting arrested for online commentary or posts, for example.
Maybe ask on Telegram - on certain channels and ask respondents to private message you the answer?
I was told there is a private messaging system with Scored, but am not sure how to us it or even if I am interested that much.
Yeah. I make a point of not going on telegram. I trust it less than clearnet. Why the hell would I give a phone number to chat anonymously? It makes zero sense.
for anyone reading this, my old go to Talkatone no longer allows free verification, so I can no longer use it as a fake phone # to sign up with accounts - unless I pay and that defeats the purpose. Does anyone have any alternatives that they can share here?
The title and topic kinda confuse me.
Join Tom Woods or Stephan Molyneux forums i guess? This place can be pretty quiet.
I was more interested in forums on Tor.
