I wish intelligent people didn't use the word "fascism" as the worst possible system of governance. It isn't.
Fascism should be more properly called anti-communism. Those ideas actually started with the White Movement (against the Reds) during the Russian Civil War, then spread with émigrés fleeing communism to the West, and then to Italy, Germany, Spain, etc.
WW2 was all about the Soviet Union preparing to take over the world - a fact that your socialist teachers have suppressed from you. Everything the Anti-Comintern Pact did (including trying to out-manipulate Stalin through diplomacy) was to resist the Communist World Revolution.
FDR's siding with the commies was a period of absolute insanity in US foreign policy, which fortunately has corrected since 1950s. All the so-called "fascist" (anti-communist authoritarian pragmatist) governments all over the world have been US allies ever since.
I hope you like the U.S. the way it is right now because it is fascist.
You should be more precise in your words.
All existing nations have some degree of mixed economy, from the highest in relative economic freedom (Singapore, Hong Kong, Switzerland, New Zealand) to the lowest (Cuba, North Korea). So by some definitions of "fascist" - everything is "fascist". And the commies use that word to describe absolutely everything they don't like...
We are talking about relative degrees of various kinds of freedom: Property Rights, Free Speech, Free Exit, etc. Communism was the worst at this, with Stolypin / Mussolini / Hitler / Pinochet / Franco / Suharto / etc ranking relatively better.
You use socialist language, including "muh democracy" - as if letting a mob of brainwashed idiots rule over you is somehow a good thing...
What we AnCaps support is individual freedom. In present reality this requires organized defense against communism, which the commies will of course call "fascism".
A communist really told me that fascism was right wing because it discriminates. What a joke.

So, yes, we are all fascists now. Hail Hoppe! ?
