Agreed. Obviously their are better ways to procreate and in a k society the male and female parents have a few children and invest energy into each one to ensure the best chance of success. In r populations the family unit breaks down and there is little investment into children. These societies collapse when they exhaust their resources, either through over population or missuse of resources or both. I think what we are seeing in America is the change from a k type dominant society to an r type dominant society. This is why there are more expressions of negative type sexualities now. It isn't about the future, its about bliss in the moment at the expense of the future.
