There isn't a fundamental difference between signing a contract to be paid somewhere above $0.01 and signing a contract to be paid 0. Someone could conceivably sell themself into slavery voluntarily. I don't know why they would want to, but it doesn't have to be illegal.
selling yourself is consentual and thus not slavery tho right
The definition of slavery is not "selling another person" so no.
