I saw the video. I like Walter Williams. I am an ancap. I don't like this video. It's preaching to the choir. It won't win new converts. In fact it pushes me a tiny bit away from being an ancap. Don't get me wrong I'll always be an ancap but things like this make me adopt more conservative, traditionalist and community centered views. Choice is always paramount and we should not ever lose that. Though i hope people make choices not only based on greed. Perhaps Texas farmers shouldn't have been feeding people in NY...
It just shows our worldviews are so completely different. Right wing people who believe in markets but think it must be for the good are harking to ideas predating Adam Smith. So on no angle do right wing ideals of any ideology appeal to the left. I learned a bit about this in "a little history of economics" by Niell Kishtany
I do enjoy what the principle is trying to convey in a sense though. Like it conforms to the whole idea that non racist business people will do better in business or racists have to ignore their racism for money and that kinda thing.
