Never with that attitude... Never. Sure this isn't likely to happen now, but ffs, they are debating it. That's not something that has happened in our lifetimes. The pendulum is swinging in our favor.

FYI, this is, at least arguably, a direct result of the Free State Project movement. New Hampshire has elected a ton of Libertarian Republicans over the last few years.

I agree. It's one reason that though I'm an atheist I'm a big fan of Christianity and will defend it from other atheists any chance I get.

There aren't enough ancaps here to make it interesting. I don't know why, considering this is one of the few uncensored places we can congregate online. That said, I see very ancap sentiments expressed on the main sites here all the time. People are fed up with government and they can't help but sound like us occasionally. It's a good sign imo. We just need to keep throwing redpills at them.

Violence isn't the problem. There is righteous violence. It's called self defense. Aggression is the issue, which means attacking or coercing peaceful people specifically.

People said the same thing thousands of years ago. The only way evil gets in is compromise. The little evils accumulate into great evils over time. Few people can stomach great evil all at once, but nearly everyone can excuse a little evil for the "Greater Good".

They put a chain around our neck as a species by locking innovation up. We'd probably, technology wise, be 50-100 years more advanced in pretty much every field if not for patents. It is only the responsibility of IP owner to protect their property, not everyone else.

Direct democracy and UBI? This is not a pitch for libertarianism. This is just another statist fantasy, with some socialist bullshit sprinkled on top. You can't use the ring of power for good, it's wholly evil.

Nah, the situation is like that because of government intervention in the market in the 1st place. They'd never get away without prices otherwise. Maybe technically it's not exactly a consistent ancap position, but it sure as hell isn't a hill I'm going to fight on.
